SpinCalc Components
SpinCalc is an artificial gravity comfort calculator developed by Ted Hall. This plugin for Rhino/Grasshopper helps visualize the results with a diagram and dashboard given two simple inputs.
Each of the four comfort indicators are driven from ranges found in Dr. Hall’s research. This plugin also assesses overall comfort, which can be negated by any individual comfort factor going into the red. The two driving parameters, rotational radius and velocity, have associated comfort ranges that are directly controlled, while the effect of the dependent variables can be explored and visualized with the tool.
Everything is packaged as Grasshopper clusters, installable by dragging and dropping onto your canvas and customizable natively within Grasshopper.
