About Us
Our area of expertise is high-performance architecture, whether that means a sustainable home, a multi-story laboratory, a collaborative workplace, or a research station in space. For us, building performance goes beyond sustainability to include building systems integration, experiential design, and thoughtful relationship to site.
Our process of architectural prototyping is adaptable by design, balancing aspirational vision against real-world pragmatism to explore the possibilities within each unique design problem.
We leverage best practices from space industry experience to quietly integrate building systems from day one, delivering efficient, sustainable architectural solutions that enable exceptional design.
The Space Age is named with intention, constantly pursuing a sense of wonder while operating within the context that what we learn living and working in space can improve life on Earth.

At the foundation of our practice is a belief that building a better world is possible.
-
We design real things for real people. The best design ideas are rooted in reality and are achievable.
We believe good design leads to better quality of life and should be available to everyone.
We think in systems, designing not just objects or spaces, but resilient frameworks that adapt, respond, and endure.
We’re designing a future where space is just another destination where people can travel, live, and work.
Sustainability is a fundamental way of thinking and working. We can help ensure our work goes beyond longevity and a small footprint by creatively pursuing net positivity across multiple dimensions.
We must embody the future we’re trying to build: optimistic, bold, and equitable.
